I would have thought so, I went the other way from -1's to 572-13's and the valves clipped radially but the depth wasn't an issue (used the same cam). I'd still check it though.

Its easy enough for the right guy to fly-cut the pistons if needed. Tom Hemphill in PA fly-cut my 440-1 pistons so I could also run my B1 heads.
thats good to know ....i figured the same why couldnt you just cut new notches but i was told from a couple different mopar builders that i would need new pistons going from -1s to b1s......maybe pistons end up being thin?guess it depends on what you have for pistons to begin with.
Who makes and sells the 572-13 heads and what block and bore size will they work on? How well do they flow and what size valves are in them?
they dont flow much better than a -1 and need 4.5 bore....can have larger port volume than -1 when fully ported guess thats the advantage with a bigger cube motor.
