Not to mention I broke the throttle cable on the first qualifier and had to be towed back after launching the car....Fixed that, and then blew a 1/2" holein #8 header tube....

Spent the weekend pulling that off and getting that welded, changed plugs and oil, filter, put diaper back on, and almost ready for next weeks points race...

Wholly crap you took the stripe by .08 and that's a mile in drag racing terms. One of two womps of the throttle and you would still be racing.

Lost a final one day by the fourth digit, time card only showed third digit so according to the sums it was dead heat.

Join the first round club! I towed 100 miles to Indy to escape the Ohio rain yesterday, lost with a better light on a .009 MOV. Dang, should have dialed up .01, that's drag racing for those of us that actually do it.
