Thats on the minimum side but should clear.. but since its on the frame side you shouldnt have any sharp edges like out on the fender side.. might rub on quicker cornering

Another factor you have to deal with is the tire size to the rim size and the pressure.. but from what the others are saying it wont rub on cornering EDIT also another factor... bias ply or radials.. a radial will have less movement due to higher pressures over the bias ply

I've never had an issue with Spacers. My 11.0 street car has 1/4". My 9.0 drag car has 1/8". The trick is to make sure the wheel lugs are properly torqued. I use 100 lb/ft on 1/2" studs. Doug

Spacer is not an issue. We have cars that run NA 10.5 that have 3-4" spacers. Those guys normally run Comp with more tire. Funny thing is they are faster NA 10.5 racing...Yet still put the big ones back on...

Slow the car way down before doing the turns on and off the track I've had more than one car with 1/2 inch on bias tires, go slow when in doubt on the turns
