Machine shop in Washington state - 07/06/16 11:15 PM

Any shops that specialize in Indy aluminum blocks? I'm putting one together for race only with B1 heads. The shops here in Yakima, WA have such outdated equipment. Thanks for the replies.

Member "Forest" built a 540" indy block, B1 engine.

He's from Tri-Cities. He'll chime in I'm sure with who he used locally.

If you're willing to travel towards Seattle, Action Machine in Shoreline has the nicest equipment and cleanest facility around.

The mopar guys I know including myself go to Johnsons Machine Shop in Olympia. Excellent precise work and the also have dyno.

I really like Buds in Tacoma too, but he's always so backed up I stopped using him

I've use Archie Somers at Somers Machine(360-699-5205) in the Vancouver area(his machine and dyno shop is at his home property now in Battleground) for some of my block and head work, very good results up They do a lot of the SB Chevy roundy round and road race motors around there shruggy
