Need help Griner Transbrake - 06/27/16 07:35 PM

I bought a used Griner brake for a 727 and didn't get any instructions with it. It doesn't have any part numbers on it.

Can anyone identify it by the pictures? It does have one plastic ball in it, about the size of a marble.

I also need to know what modifications need to be made to the tranny, and torque specs for the VB bolts, etc.

Thanks,
Mike

the one on the left is a Griner LBA unit that I sold.... looks a lot like the one you have. Seems there was a number stamped on the backside of it, and I thought I had a pict, but can't seem to come up with anything. I also have a Griner NLBA from the late 80's and another newer Griner NLBA in a 904. One on the right is a clean N unit from Pro Trans I'm currently using.

For any info on Griners as far as ID'ing them I'd give Keith Long a shout at 727 Specialists.
