Safe to say I got the first win of 2016 here?

..... who's going to March Meet the points leader in Hot Rod in the NHRA Heritage Series?? Yes sir!! Lol! (If that isn't the 1st round loss kiss of death I don't know what is! ) I had a good day in Phoenix yesterday winning class. It was a comedy of errors Saturday, and the last test hit was our only real usable data. 60ft has dropped like a rock since loosening the converter, but the launch isn't quite as violent either which probably helps with that consistency thing. Maybe I should quit for the year at 100%!

You can race in Arizona in January but not in July when it's 120 degrees and 105 at night..... great job J I'm happy to hear I wish I was there... keep it up when you say 60 foot drop...do you mean faster👍👍👍

Anybody can race in the heat or cold, first you have to want to I've race in both, 40F at LACR on New Years day and again at LACR in July and August when it was 115 F at 3:30 P.M. for first round. BTW, I've whup a bunch of Non Mopar at a lot of different races

I haven't had a 1.2 60ft since the converter change Shiloh..... but sure had a string of 1.35's Sunday. Certainly not wheels up like it was. At this point we're staying with the 4150 carb and continue to hone on the boring consistent side of things.... play the game . Fun lil car to wheel for sure!!

Honestly Cab now that the car is running and everything seems to be "coming together" I have only two commitments: March Meet, and Whatever at the Strip (guess it's "WaTS" now ). "IF" we do well at MM, I might just head to Sacramento and hit the next Heritage race..... If we do anything up there, we might be persuaded to go to Boise..... In other words, I have no plans! Diesel is cheap so I'd like to get out and travel some. I haven't run Sac since 07, and I've never run Sonoma so I think it would be fun to add to the "been there, raced that" list. Running points at one track I find a bit boring. I prefer being a "high horsepower camper" and hit different tracks. Also need to get to Tucson.... been since like 04 since I've been down there. Come down to Vegas in March Cab.... It'll still be fun!

well we're heading to Vegas Saturday night for some fun and then race Sunday. Wish you could have stuck around Sin City for awhile. Hopefully you can find your way up there for MaTS.... it's a good time just to hang out.
