W-2 race head rockers. - 01/10/16 01:34 PM

Wondering what rockers are available for a W-2 race head? Updating from my old Norris rockers. Need an offset rocker that oils thru the shaft, not the pushrod. What kind and where can I get them??

Thanks

T&D.. you need the stands.. I forget if those
are the offset stands and shafts or on center
line... both sets of W-2s I have are the econo
type.. 1 set of regular and 1 set of long valves

Jesel also makes them but a LOT of work needed to use them.

I used the Mopar, Crane brand extruded aluminum roller tip rockers on the 418 C.I. race W2 headed pump gas stroker motor I built for 9secondPhil years ago. He put a lot of laps and street miles on it with no problems that I'm aware of shruggy Buy the best ones you can afford up

I used Harlan Sharp for years with zero issues. Engine was 418 SB with Arrington/Diamond heads, 726HP and 665 TQ, left at 5800 RPM's and car weighed 3550 with me in it. I was far from easy on them.

I have ran the race W2 heads for years,my last combo with well over 900 runs and had the non - roller ductile iron rockers and never broke one and only had to replace one adjuster last year. They are kind of similar to the 273 adjustable rockers.

My Norris rockers oiled thru the shaft. I want my new rockers to oil thru the shaft also and not the pushrod. Do the Harland Sharps oil thru shaft?? I believe the T and D does??

T&D has both styles.. shaft and PR oiling.. I'm
running PR oiling on my shaft type.. I closed off
the hole in the head on my econo W-2s

They were the old set of Nascar/NHRA set from long ago. These actually were on Buddy Arrington's Talladega car. Duster ran low 9.90's with Glide and 4.56 gears in a Dana.
