I was going to the Indy NMCA but think I'll pass and head to BGR.
Is there a "host hotel"? or any suggestions on a hotel?

Looking forward to babbling on the mic and calling some great racing action!

Holy schnike, didn't think about the Open affecting hotel prices in Delmont. There is a Hampton Inn a little east of the track, in Blairsville, which is maybe 10 miles or so from KRP.

As always we are thankful for your support (racers and fans) of the event. We couldn't do it without you.

Big thank you to all of the sponsors for supporting us year in and year out. This event is strengthened by you presence.

Weather forecast looks really nice for all 3 days!

If you're coming from the east on 22, go past the track, and there is a jug handle ramp on the left to bring you back to the track.

Going to be some great racing, can't wait! Please fill out your tech cards neatly so we can read them right and get your info into the computer correctly.

Had a great time. Track was excellent. Race was run without delay. Got to see lots of Moparts members. Made it 7 rds to the final Friday night in No Box and went brain dead red in the final. Best race was Joe Middle .002 light 9.51/9.50 index vs Casey Fauss Johnson .006 9.75/975 index. Margin of victory .0002. Congrats to Casey for doubling up in N/SS winning Saturday and Sunday. The bad news is my loose lash issue resurfaced during inspection Saturday morning so the car was parked Saturday and Sunday. That allowed me to get a quick tutorial on how to stage a turbo car, set the trans brake then switch hands to hit the push button shift in Dizusters car. Did make a couple 9.89 passes in it, quiet, smooth. If anybody has any video of my car Friday night it would be great, it felt real good. 1.27/9.15@147 in pretty lousy air. Thanks to The Bob George crew and AJ Cassini for putting on a great race.

I was wondering why I didn't see you on Saturday or Sunday, Doug. Your car is so nice, even my buddy Greg, who is not into Mopars, loved it. Stay tuned to the KRP FB. Glenn, the videographer, will have at least the final round of your car. That should make it to the YouTube channel also:
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC-Eh03SG_okHCnD-_2ByXtQ

Hope to see you all back for the three $10K races end of July (box), end of Sept (no box), or any of the events that strike your interest.

John, thanks for the sippin' Dew, helped keep me going.
