Wow!! I've seen that one, but never used one before. Their products are really well made. I just bought a cheap knock off on Amazon. It works really well. I took it underwater and just some day shots. I haven't used it on the car yet. It was $90. It's comparable to the Hero3 Silver I think

I just did some research on some of the action cams out there. I just bought 2 Sony av200 for my kids for Christmas . They are 199.00 on Amazon , the other one I looked into was the ION that is sold by radio shack there is a YouTube comparison against the GoPro, they both have there own pros and cons but the ion is way cheaper. It also makes a price difference in if you want wifi or not . Good luck do a action cam review search and compare them all for your needs and wants.

Yes. It is a micro usb port. Similar to a droid charging cable. I don't remember if it came with one or not

I have used a GoPro mounted both on the inside and out side of my car. I use the suction cup to mount it on the out side. I have mounted it on the doors, roof, hood and Windows. Works great, great videos.

I like the video quality of Go Pro, but the sound quality isn't there for capturing nice deep V8 sounds. I wonder if other brands do it better.
We use a Hero 4. Works well for us, learned a lot.
Here is a link to a run with the camera mounted under the car . Run starts at 4.20

How do you guys get such nice sound.
If I mount my GoPro 2 anywhere the image is great but sound is like someone is eating potatochips next to the cam.
Crackle and not the Funnycar sound.
Even with closed door and skeletondoor.
Could it be the exhaust with dynomax mufflers(572 hemi)? ends before rearaxle
