Myron swept the field with consistent driving and a car that ran the dial almost every run! Myron's '75 Dodge Dart Sport, which has provided him with many IHRA Championships has all but clinched the SSSSA Championship for 2015. The combination of a consistent car and deadly reaction times has made Piatek the man to beat in Division two over the past few years. Thanks guys! This was a "local" Stock/Super Stock Association (SSSSA) event and for the first time, run at 1,000'! I was a little apprehensive, but got use to dialing it. It does look good to win it all, although the one last race is for double points in a couple of weeks.

I'm happy to say that I won the IHRA Division 2 Championship this year and have high hopes when I try NHRA next year with a Dodge Aspen wagon in Stock. It will run in either I/SA or J/SA. I'll be thrilled if I get it to run high 11's or low 12's, roughly 4-5 tenths under the index. Not quite ready to test yet.

But you don't here about the other races! lol It's been the most see-saw year I've had. I've either won or lost first round. I went to a bracket race in Gainesville Saturday and lost first round. Had him by .022 but broke out by .002. Bought back, had a .032 package but lost to a .027 package. Before winning the 2 at Palm Beach, I lost first round at the IHRA World Finals and lost first round each day at a triple-header at my last divisional event. First day was a loss by .0005 after we both had .020 packages! I watched helplessly as a few other racers went rounds, edging closer in the points. But fortunately nobody caught me. If I can just better my average by .01, I'd be winning a lot more.

I hope I made a good investment and can get use to the Aspen quickly. A second car will create some financial and logistical problems. (Not my garage - it's at the previous owner's place.)

Hum looks familiar, if you don't hurry up and take it home I'm going to take the wheels lol.
