sweet - what years have you run up there, never saw it when we were running up there 92-95? before Earlville opened up.

The pic is from Cedar falls 2010 10.5 Outlaw shootout
I raced this car from 06-10
2010 was the last year I ran that car.

Still have it, still runs.
With it's last engine I built for it I'm sure I could have better my time but I never ran it.

Lol, it's nothing really special.

I quit racing it basically because I kept bending braced 8 3/4 housings and couldn't keep the 727 together.

I have everything to do the th400 swap but never actually gone through with it.
I was curious if they actually made an aftermarket 727 case?

I did see some info on the book of faces about a aftermarket 727 case that was coming out

Clanton on here is putting a th400 in his Coronet right now and has a thread if you want to learn from his trials
(my 'race' car is also a 69 Coronet so I always perk up at other coronets)

Still curious about the combo.

Even 10's in a big, heavy all steel street car finds all the weak points in the driveline.

I hate 2,500 lbs. Fox bodies... rant

I'm surprised a 8 3/4 lived at all in an 8 second B body car. I'm not surprised it bent, I'm just surprised it didn't spit the pinion out. You were making some serious steam to push that car that fast.

Cool ride for sure! Love the fact that its in (what appears to be) original paint. Big B body yanking the wheels is always a crowd pleaser.

Im sure a 727 can be built to handle the power, just need a better rear end (Dana60-9")

Just want to say i respect that car...I know how hard it is to get a B-body to run those numbers and lower....Props to you Sir....
