Heads up stuff at Norwalk Mopar show next month

I am old and kinda set in my ways...... That said, I had a blast last year watching the heads up cars at Norwalk.... Gary Robbins and all the other guys. Fun, fun, fun to watch.
Seems like there are quite a few cars around these days.

Any ideas on who might show up this year? Surprises? Big Time, Digby?

I will throw an offer of 100 dollars cash to the low qualifier after qualifying sessions are complete, not much I know, but it's a hundred dollar bill........

Not looking good for me. I received a call today that my headers should be welded up and ready to send out to get coated tomorrow. Hopefully picking up the car on Sunday. I'm going to re-ring and new bearings but will probably wait to order my nitrous kit since it is so late in the year. Property tax bill arrived yesterday too and ohhhhh boy. Looks like the black Duster will be playing in the box class. Lol

I'm going to try to make it but my engine isn't done yet.
I still have a lot do on the car itself .
But if I get the engine back in I will show up like last year untested .

I'm on the fence as the limited class I run in Texas has changed a August race to the same weekend as MMW !!

I'm going to be there to watch only.

I put up 50 dollars for the quickest pass during #1 qualifier on Saturday in the 10.5 class.

Hey I might actually make this race...is there a bump for Big Dog or is it all run 5.70 and faster?? Ok I found this but I still don't get it....all run...but you can't dial more than .200 slower than the fastest car. So if I run 5.50's and the bump is 5.70 but the slowest car other than me runs 5.20 I have to dial 5.40????? Is that how I read it?

Electronics – Electornics Allowed

Equipment – Nitrous, Super Charger, Turbo Charger Allowed

Tech Items – Driver and car must pass NHRA guidelines for the speed run. Cars, safety equipment, and driver’s credentials will be thoroughly inspected when submitting for technical inspection. Check your expiration dates and update if necessary before arriving to the track.

Burnout – May go past the starting line and backup to stage.

Lane Choice – Better Reaction gets Lane Choice.

• This class is an all run field

• You can not dial more than .200 slower than the slowest car in the field
