As Usual My Post is Dumped

Seems that my post on my brothers passing is dumped by a MOD
even with him being a racer.... thanks MODS(TOM)

It was because it was posted after 1pm yesterday. All posts after 1 pm got dumped, it's not just you.

Sorry to hear that Mike. I lost my brother to a brain tumor in 04 so I know that feeling.. We used to always work on his stuff in my garage in the winter...and I'm missin a post here too.

With the new software changes and the contrast being so bad that my my eyeballs are complaining.. add to that all the political BS we have to put up with.. I can easily see me not being here all that much in the future..

Old people are always the most resistant to change

Like every other time changes have been made, it will be tweaked and eventually you will get used to it. Been around here along time and this is not the first time it has changed and likely wont be the last either.

Mike, I'm sorry for your loss. If you posted it after 1pm, it's gone because of the server backup. If it was posted prior to that, I don't know where it went.

Jeep, if you go to the lower left corner, just below the "quick reply" box, you'll see a little drop-down window. You can change the color scheme there. I agree that the original default scheme is hard on the eyes. There are some darker ones available.

True... but its another nail in the coffin.. and us old guys are quickly getting to that point where its no longer fun to log onto here..

I am sure when this place started many never saw themselves spending any time here. I remember last time it was changed there was going to be a mass exodus because you had to recreate your account and post counts were lost. Ohhhhh the humanity of it all..Yet 99.9% of those people all came back. Give it time and you can tweak the appearance at the bottom of the page here

I never can figure out peoples obsession with "change" just for the sake of change. I am no "purple shaft" kind of guy but there was nothing wrong with the way the board was, leave good enough alone. Can we get a classic edition?
