I have nothing but faith in the IHRA since Scott Gardner is running the program. He did a great job of running Cordova, and the other tracks he was with. Going to Cordova for the World Series of Drag Racing every year is a great time.

I don't believe NHRA ever put their rule book online for FREE...I could never find it anyhow. THAT says IHRA is trying to get along with normal racers.

NHRA never will as they would lose the almighty dollar by doing so. I already have the printed IHRA rules but its nice to bookmark that link so its at your finger tips. I swear I read almost every week that another track is switching to IHRA and its the best thing Pittsburgh Raceway Park ever did.

That's a big 10-4 Don! Watched my Brother race my Dad's "new" 57 Chrysler 300C in "super stock" at that track in 57.

I followed the link, and it broke my heart. I had my sights set on their 11.50 no box class. Turns out I can't put my Dakota in there. They have a 125" wheelbase limit and mine is 131.

What is the factory wheelbase of a Dakota?

Mine is the extended cab, and the WB is listed as 130.9". The standard cab long bed is 123.9 and the short box standard cab is 111.9, at least according to Wikipedia.
I guess it's brackets or another body. The problem is nearly everything here is 4WD.
