What the thinnest adaptor you would use or does it matter hood clearance is an issue? Going to a Dom from a Demon.

2 inch. The thin ones are useless.

I use a 1" as its all I can fit under my hood. But I dont use it for performance as I use a phenolic spacer to help fight eng heat in the carb and its a big help. Since mine is a street car I really need it. Ron

Yes not using the spacer for any performance gains just want to be able to get the gains from the Dom.

What engine combo? If it is a big block you can buy a Mopar M1 4500 intake fairly cheap and they work great.

I think the shorter one is an issue myself and run the 2 in. plus a half in. 4 hole wooden spacer to help with heat and make it taller to lengthen the runners and improve the signal.

That's the info I needed Thumper thanks, I'm running a Victor now Andy and like it probably not a lot of difference between them.
