A good Friend of mine bought one from Harbor Freight for his 22 foot car trailer and it lasted about 2 weeks.

I've purchased several over the last 5-6 years, and with me being cheap, I went for the less expensive ones first.. only to have them all break..

Then I cracked open the wallet and bought the Husky Brute and love the thing.. it is very reliable and its a nice feature to have the remote control..

I've got two ATWOODs (made in the usa), one on my open trailer and one on my enclosed, the one on my open is 20yrs old and works great yet. bought from my local trail hitch source. about the same price as the Husky

I bought a Harbor Freight one , lasted 84 days, it had a 90 day warranty. They replaced it with no problems. I then bought a 2 year warranty for the replacement. It's been over 2 years now with out a problem. My trailer is a 28 foot inclosed.

My current one is a Ultra Fab 4000,(4000 or 4500 lb rated) made in USA. my 24 ft. Pace Shadow 10,000 GVW car trailer weighs right at 9100 lbs loaded ready to go to the races, that tongue jack works fine I'm sure it has right around 800 lbs tongue weight on it disconnected due to having a old 5500 watt Yamaha contractor generator mounted on the tongue as well as having cabinets and storage shelfs full of spare parts and tools mounted up front also IHTHs
