Head gasket recommendations

Hi all I am looking for your thoughts on the best direction I should go with head gaskets on a short block I bought a short time ago. It is a 512" low deck stroker motor that I picked up to put my Victor heads on in hopes of being able to break into the 9 second range with my Duster. The block is O-ringed already and I want a head gasket that is approx. .050 compressed thickness. The pistons are flat tops and about .008 in the hole. It is an aluminum rod motor and I have read where I need about .060 piston to head clearance with aluminum rods. I should have about 12 to 1 compression with my heads and I will be running methanol with it. I am on a fairly tight budget trying to finish this motor up so cost is an concern. So should I use a copper head gasket or is there a better choice. My heads are not O-ringed and I don't even know it they have to be also when using a copper head gasket. Can I remove the O-ring in the block and use a head gasket like the Fel-Pro 1105? Any thoughts you guys have would be appreciated. Thanks

You said the block was o-ringed. Does that mean the head has a receiver groove? If so you will need to run copper head gaskets.

No the heads don't have receiver grooves as of yet. That is why I was wondering if I needed to run copper and have my heads grooved or if I should run something different in the way of head gasket.
