Gen 3 Hemi valve spring tool - 01/03/15 06:34 PM

Looking to see if anyone has a part number for a tool to remove valve springs from A Gen 3 with the heads ON the block. I use an OTC #4572 when the heads are off, but looking for a good head ON tool. Any recomendations of a known good tool??

Mancini racing has a nice one. Expensive. But I bet you could make one for a fraction of the price. Matt. Part# MM57VSRT

Crane 99476-1

Did all 16 springs in the car with this - worked flawlessly...but make sure you keep the screw down lubed....

This is what I was thinking of. I built the shaft piece like in the picture and then a pull-down lever the first trial. That is when I found out that I only had 2 arms/hands and my first design required at least 3!! This one gives me some more ideas to try. Thanks.
