I just ordered a Lenco ST1200 and will be starting the mock up this weekend. I am not sure how close the two transmissions measure.
A Lenco ST1200 4-speed with reverser is 28.5" from mating surface to output seal. The shifter can be located at 14, 21, or 28".
What ratio's are you looking at running? Clutch setup? Will your see any street duty? Ours will!

We spent some time measuring from the motor plate using 23.5" for the block and 7.5" for the bell depth. I think the 21" shifter mount will work in our '66 b-car. The torsion bar crossmember is going to need some surgery as well. I think I will more or less plate it on the ends and add a hoop with the lower half being removable.
That said I'll use slide rails to mounts the transmission on this deal. The doors are easy to remove (pinned) so taking the trans out through the door with the engine hoist will make life easy.
For the tunnel itself I'll use the existing sheet metal to make a flange for the aluminum cover to fasten to. It will be a little tricky to get it right for a person of my skill level but you have to learn somehow.

Just shopping right now. Thinking of using 3.09 2.11 1.45 1 to 1 in the tranny with 4.10 in the back. Mild supercharged hemi should be a bit over 1,000 hp. Some street duty, but built to play at some of the nostalga events. Haven't researched clutch yet.

I run a CS1 3 speed Lenco in my turbo Avenger. It's behind a Bruno drive.
There pretty big, sticking one in a stock floor pan car would take some work. If you need any measurements let me know.

you will like a Bruno if you run it. maintenance free. at least at your HP level (and mine).

Your gears are pretty close the what I have being built:

We have a 4.56 gear, 29x10.50 tire and will spin the little 400 stroker to about 7500.
I figured at under 800hp and below 3500lb we will never break it. And then again there is the Fonzi factor of running a Lenco on the street.

since you are supercharged don't forget about a lenco drive. Smaller and lighter than a Bruno and a lenco. I run one in my outlaw car and its awesome.
