Grudge race with coworker video - 09/16/14 03:32 AM

I was called out by a coworker almost a year ago to race his 383 powered Cutless. He just knew he could out run my Dakota. He finally showed up at Gainesville Raceway and we raced. He told everyone at work he got beat by 4 cars. He didnt know I had it video taped. LOL

I would say you spanked him good. Thats holding up the Mopar banner very well ! My friends brother-in-law has a stroker 383 Camaro and the machine shop who built his eng says his car should run 11.20's so he wants to race me. But he wants to race on the street and will not go to the race track as he knows I am not stupid enough to race on the street and he wont go to the track. One Friday night cruise about a year or so ago when I pulled in he made the mistake and told me he wants to race now as his car is running good and I knew he wanted to race on the street but we were only about 30 miles from a local track that was running its normal friday evening test and tune. So I said OK lets go to Cecil dragway as its open right now and is open until 11 as it was about 6:30 then. And of course his smile fell right off his face as he made up another excuse not to go to the track. I would love nothing more then to see him line up in the lane next to me at the track. But he always has an excuse. Ron

This guy was the same way about racing on the street and I refused till finally I got him to take it to the track. I also had to make sure he saw that my nitrous bottle wasnt in the truck because we all know what would have happened if I would have had it in the truck. It took a while for me to get the guy that took the video to upload it so it was great to see his face when I showed him the video.
