And beat tired out... Car ran great never touched anything on it, even tho it still wasn't 'ready'

Got there late, made 3 passes... 6.8 @100, 6.7 @101, 6.7 @102

Its a 400 block, 440 crank, ross dome piston, Bme rod, roller cam about .600 lift and 262 @.050, 906 head iron rockers, victor ootb intake and big 4150 carb. The long block is pretty much what was laying around left over stuff I did a dingle berry hone and put together Hope it last awhile!!

Is this the motor you used to run with the gas and does it run a nitous converter.

yep, its that same shortblock with a smaller cam. the converter is the same one from then also, 9" lupo set for nos.

Looks a little soft on the launch, i suppose that's down to the tight converter.
What are the 60ft times ?

Heyyy Tony, I was in too much a hurry to see what was going on up there, but the guys working were great! I didn't know what end was up and the staff helped me out all afternoon!! Your son was working the start line or back in the staging lanes?

It look like it was smoking during the entire first run, typical of a dingleberry hone I guess I didn't notice any smoke on the third run Did you do any cooling down between the runs or was it hot lap running on the last two?

Hey Cab... Yep I cooled it down between runs, pulled the hood and checked it over, hoping not to see oil blowing out everywhere! Looked good so went back up.. Not sure waht the smoke was from, at least it got better not worse!!
