Big Tony in Iraq! Get your butt back home already.
I hope its soon...Thanks for spotting the old 4 door and thanks everyone for the nice words. Steve is correct, my best pass with the hydraulic flat tappet cam that is currently in the engine (244@.050/.540 108lsa Straightline Performance)was 11.65 at 114. So Steve did pretty well considering he drove the heck out of it too. It did go 11.55 at 116 with a 238 @ .050 /.540 112lsa solid flat tappet.
My guess is the other cars in his class had headers. That being said, I wonder how well Steve and the 4 door would have fared with a decent set of headers?
I havn't been around here much, except for the occasional lurk, but I'm starting to get the itch again to get this car going. I'm 3 months into recovery from back surgery, and hope to start turning some (light) wrenches again after the holidays. I sold my 62 Savoy and have this goofy idea to build a 62 Chrysler Newport. I have a stroker in the works, but we'll see what happens with this one. Thanks again for noticing and congrats Steve on a great job at Drag week.
