I run a 8896 which is a 3 circuit... I never had any
problems with it on the track... if you street drive
I would suggest the 2 circuit one(I forget the number)..
the 2 circuit works fine on the track also
EDIT
the 2 circuit is a 8082

Really either... 8082 or the 8896.. its just a
matter of 2 or 3 circuit .. I run the 8896 but I
hear the 8082 is some what easier to tune(I dont
know this for fact)

If you leave on the converter, the intermediate circuit on an 8896 is another tuning tool. I leave on a rev limiter, and it was always too rich. Leaning the intermediate circuit too much, will cause it to lean out the entire fuel curve at WOT, as the main well isn't big enough for more than around a 99 jet. Maybe that has been fixed. I was going to try a BLP block, which picks up idle fuel outside the main well, but they never picked up the phone to take my money. I went to a 8082, and it works great on my 388" small block. That's my experience.
