Guys, please keep Randy, aka Labrat in your thoughts and say a prayer for him. Many of you know that Randy has been fighting cancer for a while now. The cancer has made a comeback and required hospitalization and some very intense chemo treatment. He is home now and in good spirits, but has a long tough recovery ahead. I know this is not race related, but the guys that know him hang out here in the race section. Get well soon my Friend!!!

I wish him the best and let him know the Moparts family are behind him all of the way. I get so sick of this cancer crap and the good people goin down because of it and I contribute a lot of it to all of the junk and preservatives in the foods we eat. How often did you hear of this in the 60`s?

Please keep us posted Randy! Take it from me. After I spent 6 days in the ICU this summer and came home to read everyones kind words it just makes you feel good knowing that racers do hold a special place in their hearts for other Moparts racers.

Randy- don't know you personally, however you are still in my thoughts and prayers. This cancer thing is out of control, however they find new cures every day that someday might help beat this thing.
I'am a cancer survivor, so I know what you are going through, I only wish that my wife could have beat her pancreatic cancer this past year, before it beat her, she was the best "CREW CHIEF" any racer could ever ask for! Best of luck and prayers sent- HEMI JOE

My wife and I just left his house after seeing his wife, Corinne. He is still in the hospital fighting some side effects of the chemo and trying to get his blood counts in order so he can come home. I feel almost as bad for Corinne as I do Randy, She is working full time at her job, taking care of Randy, as well as their regular home chores. She,s a real trooper for sure. I will keep everyone informed as the info comes to me. Thank you guys for all of your kind words and support. I know Randy really appreciates it!

I stopped by the hospital to see him last night and dropped him off some magazines. His blood levels are still out of whack. He is eating some and in pretty good spirits. Still has a morphine pump and tires pretty quickly. He appreciates everyones well wishes and can't wait to get home.

He is unable to speak, but does understand when spoken to. Looks like all that is left is to keep him as comfortable as possible. His family appreciates everyones concern and prayers. He has made a lot of good friends through Moparts. As more becomes available I will pass it along.

this is horrible news to hear.
What an amazing guy and friend, 2 years ago yesterday I lost my father, Randy reached out, a few months later I had to have open heart surgery, again, Randy reached out.
My thoughts and prayers still for a recovery.

This just floored me to hear this.
I am devastated to hear this. Randy is such a great guy as he sent me the longer MP rear shocks to me when I put SS springs on my car and would not take a penny for them. I feel as though I have known him all my life. You know you can sorta just tell how much a nice guy he is even talking on the internet I could tell Randy is a great guy and I am praying for him and his family. I feel like he has been a close friend all my life and I wish there something I can do for him. Hang in there my friend as I pray for a miracle.

This is sad...I have never talked to Randy in person but we have exchanged several pms. He was always happy and never had a bad thing to say about anyone! Dartin...Is there anyway we could send him a get well card or perhaps a cheerful phone call? I still do not have my voice back yet but perhaps a text? Let's all keep pulling for him.
