I believe so. There were tons of pictures posted of it at Indy. It is an absolutely gorgeous car.

My dad Herb McCandless said this was the nicest racecar he has ever seen built, for my dad to say that means something for sure.

Yes MR2 built this car. The oil rigs are bead rolled into the wheel tubs. The fabrication is second to none. Brent went 9.52 at St Louis last weekend with a 5.7 Hemi.

And he didn't win best appearing car! Something is wrong with that! Those cars look so BA with big tires under them!

Re: The Driller ... - 10/01/13 03:45 PM

The car did not win best appearing at Indy, but did get Best appearing at the AAA Insurance NHRA Midwest Nationals in St. Louis!

Congratulations to Mr. Jones for having such a piece of art!

Who built the car B&B race cars or MR2?

Re: The Driller ... - 10/01/13 05:14 PM

That car is an inspiration to me to dramatically improve my fabrication quality on my projects

From now on everything I do will be better than it has to be or I will redo it until it is.

What you have quoted there is Marty Pearcy's car which is being built by B&B. This Challenger was built by MR2

This is a super stock car and Marty's is a small tire x275 car.

MR2 for sure. I saw it at his shop! He was with the car at Indy and St. Louis. My pics won't up load but the rad support is a piece of work with MR2 cut into it. MR2 on the front valance and rear.
