Which roadside service co. covers race trailers? - 09/13/13 07:32 PM

I have had a couple different roadside service companies, Good Sam, and AAA. Neither would cover an enclosed car hauler, or a flatbed car hauler, yet they covered tow dollies I've done quite a bit of searching, but haven't found anyone that will tow my trailer off the highway should there be a problem.

Has anyone here found a company to cover their race trailer?

Ok, I've got some info for anyone who may be interested.

Our tow rig is covered by State Farm. I called and asked about their roadside assistance plan which is an extra charge of $5 a month. The assistance plan on the Dodge will pay for the towing of the Dodge and attached trailer, or for the towing of the Dodge alone. It will not cover towing the trailer by itself.

By adding collision and comp to the trailer for $6 every six months the trailer then has it's own roadside plan and they will tow it separately.

That's the route I took. Very reasonable rates at least for us here in AZ. Insurance is different in every state.

AAA if you have RV coverage.
