You're right Bob, I get confused about it now and then. I know he did drive the Teachers Pet car a time or two.
I see Kenny all the time...he lives just down the highway from me. He still has a couple of cars but I don't think they'll ever see the track or road again....he's into riding his HD.

I remember when I first met Kenny when I worked with him and Frank down at Valley. He used to tell me stories about him and Bob Glidden or him and Grumpy. I used to just roll my eyes and walk away....that is until he brought pictures in one day and sure enough, him and Glidden and him and Grumpy.

Kenny is a good guy, and a good racer. I am delighted to here he is still around. I haven't seen him for many years, tell him to come to the races and see us.

It's funny Steve because when he takes a trip out to the track he doesn't tell anyone until after the fact. I'll be talking to him about a race or run I had and he'll say something like "I seen that". He goes and just plants himself in the croud and hides..

Years ago I went to Quaker with him and it seemed like he was stopping every three steps to talk to old friends that he hasn't seen in years.
Maybe that's why he hides in the croud

This is Harry Holton�s original car. It was never cut. Mickey Weise raced it, but didn�t own it for all the years it was reported to be in his possession. Mickey sold the car to another racer, and at one point, some parts got stolen off it. The car then went up to Washington, where the owner redid the paint scheme back to the Mickey Weise lettering. Years later, Mickey bought the car back at auction, and eventually sold it to its current owner

I'm pretty sure it is. Eddie took me a ride in that car down the strip years ago---I'll NEVER forget it. I think that car is on the East coast restored in the Red and White scheme.

Doc, when I first started going to the NSS races, this car was a regular on the series. (I didn't know if it was a clone or not) It was run by a father/son team, I believe, out of Ohio. I haven't seen it in a while.

This car was pieced together from an original 383 post coupe that my grandfather bought new. I changed it to a six pack car because of the impression "Project Six Pack" had on me. Pay no attention to the Chevelle.

WOOOOOOWWWWWWWWW!!!, UNREAL, what can I say. This is just how it looked when we got it in 1975. Both steel and alum fronts, extra rear wheels and tires and extra short block. Thanks again for the photo. I have a few to post and should be able to to them this week end. I owned or was a partner on this car, the 64 hemi car that came from Vernon Rowley. In 1978 I also bougth the Flack & Comstock 64 STICK that was purple and white and called "Plum Crazy". I have only two fuzzy shots of this car before it was repainted. THANKS AGAIN.

David, Thanks for the info. Nice to hear from you. I hope things are going well. I have a lot of mixed feelings of the changes, for lack of a better word, that have happened in the company. I read somewhere you had a stocker earlier. Any photos??

This Jack Werst superbird has some great stories surrounding it...very "trick"

It survives today very much like seen it this old photo, a true time capsule if anybody got to check it out at the Mopar nations a couple of years ago

Yep thats it...was on E-Bay a few years back too (didnt meet reserve)

Bill Nugent lives about 15 minutes from me - I didn't know this until I attended an old racer reunion and met him. An old neighbor of mine almost bought the white car in the pic from Bill back in the day.

I was told that they had a 65 that ended up in Louisianna with the Toutens?I did quite a bit of racingwith Joe and Steve and many others from 65 to 69 while attending Southern Illinois Univ.at Carbondale.
