Well I didn`t want to post anything untill I was sure I was going but my friend of many years is towing me down there early to get in the tech line while Rich and the "Run-n-Done" crew look for cars for the show. Don`t realy care about being picked I`m just jonesing for a run or two but, you never know............

I fattened it up till my afr`s were about 12.2 and it hauls ass and pulls like a freight train so HOPEFULLY it hooks. So for Greg and the others who wanted to know it`s on baby...........

He also crashed pretty bad and tore the car up if it`s the super lightweight black and alum. one. Anyhow, first pass blew the tires off after the hit aborded run. Adjusted tires and shocks same thing finally put the c-tracts in the upper hole and was better but the track was junk plain and simple since everyone I talked to was off big time. So it sucked for me personally but maybe the mph is an indication of what "could of been" and when the tech gave my slip(and took my wrist band)he told me if the conditions were better and the track was there, he felt a 6.15 was doable BUT I didn`t get it so maybe next time but it was also HOT and I will never race in those conditions again since I chase et`s...............off to bed.

It's got 9.60's in it.

Thankxxx and I and everyone else agrees BUT it didn`t happen and what really pisses me off is my room mate showed up and wanted to see it run so I made that pass at 6:57 pm when it was still hot to apease him when if I would and of waited till later like 9:00 when the conditions were way better it would of ran the number because they vht`d heavily for the last run-n-done pass. My bad.........

I agree and the racers pitted next to us said having hp is a good problem to have now make it hook and hang on...........I really think I need to get to Famoso real soon or at years end where the bite and air are great.

Time for some game planning for traction! Good results IMHO though. I can see it running somewhere around 6.10 in good air with bite.

Yes, it was very light. He had a lot of work cutting, fabbing, and welding. He posted pictures on the Slant board. It's pretty much junk.

Thankxxx guys................I finally have a bit more power than before and now I really need to focus on hooking which even on a bad night, NEVER spun this bad.

That does give me hope Sledgie and it was still lean which makes me think I either need to install my stub stack or drill some holes in the back of my scoop.

I noticed some guys had drilled theres and after every pass or street romp,there`s fuel splash in the venturies which clogs up my hi speed bleeds. Make sense?
