Sorry to hear you won't be there Jake, you will be missed - but some of the guys will be glad you won't be in the finals this year.

James, you should know that on Friday April 26th is open time trials and Mopars against the World. They're gonna open at 5pm and play till midnight. Plus you can camp at the track overnight. Then Saturday gates will open for the 6th annual Mopar's at the Motorplex - presented by Mopar Action's MEGA MOPAR Series. Here's a quickie look at the Race Payouts for Saturday April 27th.

On Friday evening April 26th gates will open at 5:00pm, there will be Test & Tune and racing from 6:00pm - midnight. Mopars against the World. Come race and play - get tuned up for Mopars at the Motorplex on Saturday the 27th.

By the way if you come on Friday evening you can stay the night on the track premises.

Bill- Are the payouts guaranteed or are they based on car count? Will they run NMC with NSS? I tried to look at the NSS rules, but both links seem to be having problems.

I plan on being there in the '78...may run the Pro class if I think I'm brave enough to shift it with the column shifter or just run it in drive...

Update - This Friday April 26th at the Texas Motorplex, Ennis Texas, come join us for the 6th annual MOPARS at the MOTORPLEX, presented by Mega Mopar.
Starting this Friday night, gates open at 5:00pm for Test and Tune and MOPARS against the World - track closes and midnight. Participants may stay over night in the pits.
Then Saturday April 27th, MOPARS at the MOTORPLEX. Gates open at 8:00 am, Tech & time trials begin at 9:00 am. Car show registration starts at 9:00 am - 26 classes in the car show.
Swap Meet all day.
Be there - MOPAR or no Car !!

Probably will run DOT tire class first, Modern Hemi Challenge, Pro, Super Pro, Electronics then Nostalgia Super Stocks.

Sam, Sunday's race isn't on the TMCCC schedule. We had a rainout on the previous date is was scheduled to be run at the Motorplex. It is going to take place this Sunday April 28th, right there at the Texas Motorplex.
The Muscle Car Challenge, is actually the Texas Muscle Car Club Challenge series, or TMCCC. We run 10 races a year. It is drivers & cars from their respective car clubs that compete against each other and each others club, for FUN. TMCCC is the largest and oldest of it's kind in the US, it has been in existence for over 20 years. We had a race at Dallas Raceway in Crandall, Texas last Sunday, we had 175 race cars in attendance.
TMCC has Seven classes, we race for fun, we earn points as individual drivers and points for our car clubs as well. Plus, awards are presented at each race to winners, runner's up, and semi finalist. We have a ball and believe me the people who are participating are very, very competitive.

This Sunday at the Motorplex - - $ 30. car & driver entry

Electronics - 1/8th mile all run
Super Pro - 1/8th mile - 6.99 and quicker
Pro - 1/8th mile, 7.00 - 7.64
King - 1/4 mile, 12.00 - 12.99
Super - 1/4 mile, 13.00 - 13.99
Street - 1/4 mile, 14.00 - 15.49
Stock - 1/4 mile, 15.50 and slower

Stay over and join us, come run with the Cowtown Mopars - or whichever club you choose.
