if you look at all the NA classes, a 9.80 would win all of them I think whether its a small block or big block.

Mod is ladder or 4 link rear susp
street race is full interior stock susp
super street is not full interior stock susp
I really don't get the difference between those 2 classes but I think I could make my car meet either one.
I have wanted to put some spring boxes on my car for either B/E body or Chevy leaf springs with the longer front segment but that may be tricking the rule book a little also
Quote:The Red Camaro in Pro Street NA won the class running 9.20’s or lower (I think he even had an 8 sec pass)!Quote:

I was planning on coming and running DD this year but was on the fence after hearing Beech Bend (that’s a 12 hour tow for me). But in any event it looks like the decision is made for me since registration is full now! I might keep looking as the year goes on and see if I can still get in. My car is ready now so that’s not an issue.
Didn’t a member on this site with a Belvedere running a 604ci/1100hp hemi plan on attending DW?

I thought I read about a Modidified NA car going 8's last year but fell out of the race due to something at home. Thought it took a 9.4- to win the class. Or was I reading about the wrong class?
Leon

I was going but I STILL don't have an engine yet I think it would be in Street Race Big Block power adder.

Yea I hope to know something in the next couple of weeks. Bowling green is only 6 hours for me...I like the tracks too! I have run on all of them except for St Louis.

Yes he is in... but if he wants to be competitive he
has to step up his tune up.. he stated he is running
in the 8s right now.... Larson and Lutz have been in
the high 6s

It looks awesome.I made a few trips to Jakes while it was being built.DJ wanting pics gave me an excuse.

Where will you be testing?
Quote:
Billys clan is all in plus some I think.
Modified N/A I think will need mid 9s to win this yr(wont be me)
Just depends on who comes, a light big inch car would be perfect for this class. Im testing tomorrow.
