I have been racing my dart here lately, but my fun car is my 72 cuda I have had since 1980. It has went through many changes over the years, all done in our shop in the back yard. Learnning as we go and run what we brung.

I had one of these nose heavy rascals years ago, why did I go back This one is a tube chassis 4 link A arm front end race car that has gone 7.50 at 185 MPG + for the original owner with a blown B1 on alcholol, my motor will be much slower 505 C.I. 400 stroker using a single 1150 Dominator on E85 I need to figure out how to attach a picture of it on my signature

Mine returned home with new lexan, and some other repairs from the chassis shop yesterday. Last pass was 12/08, but It's time to put it back in action, since I can't seem to sell it!

This is a shot of my 71 with 11.5 x 28.5 Firestones from back in the 80's. The wheelwells were stock, the springs were in the factory location and the tires were mounted on 10" slots with I believe a 5" backspace.

I hadn't looked at this thread after I posted. I bought the JBRC Millennium because I thought the curved opening best mimicked the Challenger grille opening. My old windshield aero scoop was a vision nightmare so I had a talented local 'Glass guy sculpt the millennium down to end at the back of the hood! Helped visibility tremendously! He had to do a bunch of cutting because the scoop was 4 foot long out of the box!

Thanks for the compliment I love your car.I have two issues of the magazine it was in lol.I actually brought an issue over to my teachers house to get him fired back up on it,but it didn't work. He had a pretty decent 440 built for it years ago,before there was a lot of Mopar stuff being built.So it's old school six pac rods,Isky valve train,915s ported to within an inch of their lives,nice after market crank ect.Had a 250 shot on it when I bought it,still full bottle from 93.He made two passes on the car,10.50 range with no bottle,then just parked it on the side of the house and never got back in it.I purchased it 2 years ago for 5000,changed fluids and runs perfect.But it's 12.5 to one,so I'm replacing it with a slightly warmed over 440.Just want a nice street car.The Duster has me anti race gas for this build.I just want low maintenance.Cuda has rust issues around back window that need to be addressed.Took me since 91 though once a month asking him to sell it before he finally parted with it.

Here is my 1970 cuda. The car has a 499ci with rpm performer cylinder heads. Car is also a 4 spd jerico car with the road race sliders. Car has complete full intertior and no cage.
Car went 10.54 @129mph on pump gas through full exhaust

Crappy picture, but I think it was taken a few weeks before I hurt the engine the last time it was raced in 2009(?). Funny, the track was 75-80 and the car was running 10.75-10.80s that day, IIRC.

70 I built several years ago. It was a 440-6, 4 speed car. I bought it in the late 80's as a roller street strip car. As one of the other posts mentioned this car also had the original dana shortened and still in the car.

Best the car ran was 8.23 @ 165 with a 572 and glide.

I think the car is in Germany now. Last I knew anyway.
