Word is out this evening that Kenny Montgomery, famous for the Triple Nickel Hemi Plymouth Super Stockers and many time national event winner, passed this afternoon. God Bless, Kenny.

Very sad to hear this. I was just talking about him to mutual friend this weekend.

A true stand up guy!! I will miss seeing him at the track.

Ken was always a gentleman and his wife is so sweet.Always got to see him at several events every year.Will be missed,RIP Ken

Very sad to hear this. We raced our Hemi and Wedge cars in Div 1 and always had the pleasure of seeing Ken and his family competing for many years, always a gentleman and a great family. He will be missed. All our prayers and thoughts go out to the family at this very sad time.

I had the pleasure of meeting Ken at PRP one year. He was a very nice guy to talk too, and even told me the story of how he came up with 555 on his cars.

RIP Kenny. I knew him for a long time. Always a pleasure to visit with at any time. In the late 70's he and the 65 SS/B were a big influence on me wanting to go stick shift class racing. I will miss him.

The man was a legend ,I respected Kenny more than any racer that I have met in my entire life.Without getting to emotional,I can only say that he was both my son Curts' and my hero.
My thoughts go out to Angie and the entire family and friends.The world needs more people like Kenny.

I didn't know the man..but, always one of my favorite cars..
anyone that can work a 4 speed like Mr.Montgomery has my respect.

yes both kens belvedere and cuda are real hemi light weight cars that he bought brand new, my dad went to vo-tech school with Ken's son in the 80s so our familys are good friends and i have been lucky enough to work for Ken's repair shop over the past year and a half starting while in my senior year of HS (class of 2012), so i get to see the cars up close and see what it took to build those record setting-race winning hemis. i am proud to say i worked for a drag racing legend the stories ive been told i will remember forever. its hard to fathom that Ken is no longer with us, RIP boss man you will be greatly missed. jam gears up there with the rest of the past legends and show em' how its done,i take it with great honnor to say i worked for Kenny Montgomery RIP
