Doug Nash SB, bellhousing? - 01/28/13 10:46 AM

I haven't played with manuals since early 1980's and have no idea what to look for. I have a DN 5 speed with mopar input shaft, where can I get a bellhousing for that thing? And what about the flywheel & clutch, 130 teeth flywheel? 10.5" clutch? I assume the trans mount is a GM unit?

Quicktime RM-6083. I am using the RM-6070 because my DN has the shorter input.

A standard aftermarket bellhousing will line up on three of the bolt holes. You need to drill and tap the bellhousing for the fourth hole.

Or buy the QuickTime bellhousing. It should be a direct bolt in operation. But, then you have to deal with the lack of starter nose support and maybe a different mount for the clutch linkage.

No perfect options, hot rodding will be required either way you go.
