Does your adjustment bar come off the frame rail?

Re: Low mount alternator - 11/24/12 06:40 AM

I make a low mount kit that fits the PWM 8162 alternator. It isn't designed to work with a stock water pump though. To drive a stock water pump you'll need to space the alternator out a bunch.

The motor plates are all drilled on the back side for the low mount kit.

Butch I just purchased a DMI low mount kit (not yet delivered) and will use it to low mount a mini alt. Not sure I will get it mocked up until early next year since I'm pulling the engine but once here you can come see it.
