Get involved in 2013 with NENDRA

If you're looking to do something other than test and tuning NENDRA (North East Nostalgia drag Racing Association) will be racing in 2013 at Lebanon Valley,NY and Island Dragway in Great Meadows NJ.
While still trying to keep the "nostalgia" look NENDRA is opening up their rules to allow modern hood scoops, transbrakes, big slicks. No delay boxes.
As long as your car is Detroit built- Mopar, Chevrolet, Ford, Buick, oldsmobile, Pontiac, etc. from 1961-1973 and has a stock looking interior (not gutted) you are welcome to join the group.
We will be having our 1st meeting the Sunday after the Superbowl- Sunday Feb 10, 2013. Great group of competitive racers who want to have fun throughout the spring thru fall. Usually 12-15 races per year.

I joined NENDRA in 2010 after meeting the guys at Lebanon Valley. Great bunch of guys......very helpful and supportive of each other. We would all welcome new members.

It's not too soon to be getting ready for 2013.

I wish I could afford to run with a Nostalgia group sometime but heck I did not even get to the track this year as funds are so tight. My brother is on me to run with the 422 club he races with which I would love to one day I hope but for now I can barely afford to put pump gas in it and drive on the street which I also enjoy.
Do you think the new rules will be good for the Nostalgia class ?? I mean the trans brake and all no one can see or even the larger SS scoops. But will they run the areo scoops also ? I would think the areo type scoops would kinda really take away from the Nostalgia look. I know when I look at my brothers 68 Cuda with the areo scoop and the car all lowered it does not have the old SS look to it. Course thats why he runs his 64 Fury with the 422 club. Just an observation from an old fart like me I guess. Ron
