F body race car.

Okej, the car is home now and I have some work to get it race ready.
What does a 1980 F body wheigh ?
And does a 68 B body dana 60 fit?
Is there any place to get lower rear quarters, mine is hack up.

I will first let my wife drive the car with a 340 bracket engine.
Then my goal is to run it in Super Stock, in GT class with a 1970 440 Six Pack.

About 33-3400 lbs.

The Dana from the B-body fits.

Mine was 3650, with driver, 8 3/4, super stock springs,13 31, weld wheels, 440 stock interior minus heater!
8 3/4 was out of 65 b body.

here is mine. its close to 3700lb with my fat a$$ in it.. mine still has the 8 1/4 in it.. i do have a b-body 8 3/4 for it that may be placed in it this winter.. run 12.30's with a 360 with full interior.

then you have Michael Beard's 80 volare with a 5.9 drag pack motor in it running 10.70's in a GT super stock class.. he is the 2012 IHRA super stock champ. and one mad motha

With all the ballast out of the '77 Volare stocker I drive with a 360 in it we can get it down to about 3335lbs w/driver. In NHRA H/SA we have to weight 3490lbs w/driver.

Mine weighs 3470 with me in it ready to race

SB with indy heads still has a full interior

Only fiber glass is the bumper and the hood scoop

Here is one I just picked up this summer, have not driven it yet, been sitting for 5 years. 73 340 and b body 8 3/4. Hope to have it ready for next year.

not ugly, different.. at my local track there used to be three that would run our normal points races.. one was a sister car to mine..
