05 Ram Hemi

My kids ran our Quad cab the other night. It went 16.15 @ 85 MPH.
Any little tricks to make the truck a little quicker........

Aftermarket air filter and inlet assembly (smooth tubing, smooth bends), low restriction muffler, no resonators.

A pair of ET S/R will pick it up a ton if it's spinning. My Dakota ran a best of 16.09 launching at half throttle, while a kid with a similar truck ran 15.80's with the radials.

the 03 short bed short cab i had,went 14.30 with a hemi magna flow exhaust air intake and the torque managment wire pulled from computer.also had 17 inch wheels and 3.91 posi it went slower when i had 20s on it.this thing would blaze the tires into 3rd gear. iloved it till the pinion gear snapped and put a nice hole in the housing.

What gear ratio is yours? I have an '05 and am curious what it would run.

I don't know the gear ratio......... I put the kids in the truck to learn. They will be racing my Dart, when I put an auto in it......

It was fun as they went faster and faster.....

I'm going to put the tonue(sp?) cover on and remove the air filter for kicks......


The truck does not really spin bad.
