Hi,
I need new hemi main studs kit. 4 of the old studs flex a lot and I need new ones. Is it the same kit for OEM 426 hemi blocks as my aftermarket MP iron siamese hemi block?

What ARP part # do I need?

The ARP kit I used for my MP block was #145-5601

not sure of the part numbers and don't know if the kit will fit the hemi. what i can say is that ARP recommended the hemi kit for the wedge megablock i put together for a friend and the studs were not long enough. i had to measure the length and order loose studs. i asked ARP to make a new PN with the lengths i gave them but they never did. the hemi kit would've worked but imho it was not right i wanted full thread engagement.

Looked at summit... They seems to have tree different kits for hemi.
145-5601, 145-5602 and 145-5603. The last one �ts designed for world block only. The other ones is for 2-bolt main and 4-bolt main.

The 145-5601 is for 2-bolt main?

just a guess on my part but i'm thinking the 145-5601 only contains the actual main studs while the 145-5602 contains the main and side fasteners. maybe the 145-5603 has the slightly longer studs but i don't know.

i didn't write down the length of the studs i ended up using in the megablock so i can't give the sizes. i know the studs i used were longer than the stock hemi kit. i also didn't use bolts on the main cap sides. i measured and ordered studs, hardened washers and 12 point nuts for the side fasteners.

sorry i can't be of more help but given your location you want to make sure you get the right parts first time. you might try contacting ARP directly or hopefully someone here can answer you question for certain.

All I can tell you for sure is the 145-5601 kit is for Hemi, but does not include the cross or side bolts.

Thanks guys. I ended up calling Tim at FHO and he will help me. Its the kit for world block I need. He ask for some detailing on my block and directly could say it was world block casting.
