a number of chassis vendors carry them, summit also carries them.

Adam i got mine from mancini 0.90,it's made by competition engineering..0.90 thick makes for easier install

Mine is a Comp Eng. also. Just have to make very long mounted tabs on the d.s. frame rail due to the offset engine placement in the chassis, or at least I had to on my E Body.

Because of this offset in my a-body, I had mine made. It is water jet cut from 1/4" 6061-T6 aluminum. It also required longer dowel pins in the block. It really didn't cost much more than an off the shelf part and I didn't have to make weird looking bracketry to make it work.

All I use is .090 steel for mid plates... dont need
to adjust the conv for .090... but I usually make them
from a template I have

Mine was fabricated by my chassis guy out of aluminum. As Mike alluded to it did require a special converter that was made thicker in the middle to account for the 3/8" aluminum plate.
