'09 body in white Challenger on tires. - 03/26/12 12:32 AM

Some people have been asking to see some progress of the challenger, so I thought I would post a few. Nothing showing a whole lot... But figured I would post and watch my down load limits for the month lol.
More to come after I pick it up in a couple weeks..waiting on carbon fiber for the floor and other interior areas.

It's going to be a Hemi....just not that one, it's a world block only good for around 1800 to 2000 hp

Very nice! Chassis work looks great. Is that a 10.5 tire or a big tire?

Don't want to sound critical here--just wondering--the main hoop and driver's seat seem to be pretty far forward in the car?

The seat and firewall are in the stock location as per the 10.5w rules but I can still go to a bigger tire for another class. Also the wheel base is 115" stock on this car. Thanks for the words. I can't wait to pick it up and see the tubs and interior work!

don't you read the 10.5 posts? Mopars can't compete...lol good luck. should look killer when you're done.

The tube work looks great--appears to be a first class project! Would love to see how your 4-link ties into the chassis with your main hoop that far forward. Post more pix when you get them--best of luck!

So you are going to try Outlaw 10.5 with this car? Hope you make it up to cecil once so I can see it make some passes.

I posted some some pics of the 4 link back in sept or nov. I believe bars 24" long. So you can do a search under my user name. fwiw
