"Negative Pressure Supercharging is the SAME as Vacuum Supercharging
Vacuum Supercharging or "heaps more suction" may be easier to understand by the average laymen, but technically the process is Negative Pressure Supercharging. This is because the pressure in the cylinder must be reduced FIRST in order to create a vacuum or suction. Therefore, the more the pressure is reduced in the cylinder, the higher the vacuum or suction, the more air is pulled into the cylinder."

Sounds like exhaust scavenging to me. And based on the exhaust system and camshaft pieces of the kit too.
Big A$$ claims for sure!!!!

Re: Negative PSI supercharging??? - 02/20/12 01:21 PM

had a quick look at the whole thing and basically it's just a regular engine with different headers and timing. The negative pressure is created by the expanding exhaust gasses and the intake and exhaust timing is adjusted according to it. Stepped headers are nothing new and I don't really believe in the vacuum claim. Do the headers help ? Probably yes but I doubt that they're able to create a vacuum in the cylinder without the piston moving down.

Ok, if you're gonna call something "supercharging" then shouldn't there also be a SUPERCHARGER ?!?!? When I first read the post I thought someone was putting a blower on the exhaust side (what the roots blowers were originally designed for) and then I read all the BS. I guess the good thing is that there are no kits for BB Mopars !!!

And that video ... absolutely fantastic!
