Torque Flite A-727 question

I found a small crack in a customer's 727 race tranmission. Here in Peru it's hard to find a case, especially for a small block 727. I found a 1984 case with a Lack up, it has a 23 splines Imput shaft and different value body. I was wondering if the case is the same? and if the internal for the non lock up can be transfer to the lack up case?

cases are the same. i would fine out why it cracked. seeya.

The lockup case is different but non-lockup parts will fit in it.

Not all lockup parts will fit in a non-lockup case though.

Where's the crack,can it just be welded?

Thanks for the feedback. I found the case and the store had 10 brand new 727 big block, complete transmision. He told me these are brand new from chrysler 1970. They had been there for a long time.
