Driveshaft length Barracuda -68?

Driveshaft length Barracuda -68? - 12/18/11 04:24 PM

anyone knows the lenght with Dana 60 and a-body 833?
According to a book i have it should be 48,6" with 8 3/4.
And i think a Dana 60 is 1" longer?

Is it a bad idea to buy a shaft without measuring?
I dont plan to have the motor/trans in in couple of months and i really need to order soon because of sea fright.

Sorry but unless the car is completely stock, its a bad idea!

well its not completely stock but the trans crossmember is in stock location and the rear is also in stock location.

I guess i just want some help to confirm the measure from the book i have.

save yourself the grief,i've had 3 a body race cars,and ALL had dif lengh shafts!
