CALLING OUT "MO-POWER" PROMOTER - 12/11/11 02:51 AM

If you are looking at this form, we NEED your input on what you are promoting for the Mopar Racing Community.

This is an Official CALL OUT.!! As We all would like you to explain your:
1. Entry fees
2. Payouts
3. Why are payouts lowered due to car count.
4. Try to convince Mopar Race Teams to go to your Races.

Hope someone will chime in from the Mo-Power Group..

Eddie would be the go to guy, but it seems like nobody has been willing to talk for some time and all the info is coming from the MCG magazine, this whole deal is getting really stupid,,, come out once a month during the summer months and put on a event, then go back into hiding right after the event and have to wait two months for the MCG to post the results,,this is no way to run a bussiness.

I know alot of the race group guys dont hit the general
forum.... so they may not know about his passing the
other day... he was a racer and a member here guys...

one of those things, the people that he interacted with are in this section, talked to at the races, and raced with are on this section, so when a fellow RACER passes away, we cant announce it in the RACING section.
but they have thier reasons.

Doug, sometimes they make exceptions - they allow a post in the race section for a day or so, then move it to the proper area.

Not so much any more

I stayed at my home track this year and only went to the one event they held that was at Norwalk. Mainly because I wanted to see my friends and it's one of the few Races Gina gets to attend and race at.

I think you may be wrong to some degree with that statement. Our team passed on Martin and Kil-Kare and went to the Mopar races at Maple Grove and Indy instead.
And anyone who was at Norwalk knows the car count was down there as well. We talked to A LOT of people at Josh's Indy event who skipped Norwalk for Indy.

I'll say this again.. if a promoter is looking to have abig event i say bring one to the southeast. We have a bunch of medium size events, but this area is ripe for a large scale event with big purses... my

I have been running with the Chrysler Classic/Mopower events since 1997 and I really hate to see it end up as the subject of a not so good conversation with a large group of disgruntled racers, I will still attend/race some of the events just for the camradrie and friend ships, but I am very seriously looking at which other events I want to attend, untill the management and owners of Mopower Events come to their senses and realize the error of their way's.

I as well agree w/much thats been said here. Thiught it was just me, but look at how much they have lost. No special attractions even at Norwalk. I mean come on get some bigger names to at least appear & make a cpl test burns down the track. Keep something good going & get off your butts to keep the series alive. We will support it Im sure most will go w/me on this. I support needs to be SUPPORTED by the promoters here as well. We can't be expected to keep dishing out our $$$ just for loyalty. Please lets see the Mo-Power series move forward & not end. We as Moparts members as well need too help if possible. Thank You, Ken & Carrie Michalik
