Long tube Dakota header install

This install will have you searching for more curse words.

1. Don't expect to do anything else when you start in.

2 The UCAs will have to come out. I don't think Gumby could flex enough to work around 'em.

3. You will need to jack the motor, but loosen both cradle bolts before you try. Tilt up and away from the side you're installing.

4. Remflex has a TTI flange profile gasket that is way better fit than the Magnum version, PN is 6030. The pic shows this pretty good.

5. I recommend buying em bare and test fit the bolts, even reduced hex has clearance issues that prolong the install.

6. These trucks are TIGHT and finagling these pipes into position will take some finesse.

7. Practice assembling the PS side slip tubes on the bench so you know how the spaghetti goes together.

8. The slip tubes go in after you get the main set in. Rear tube first. Go slow. It's easy to get the slip tube into a bind.

9. The captured bolts are sonsafemaledogs to get fed, started and tightened. You will need to walk them down thread by thread so the tubes don't block them. I suggest using long bolts/allthread on the #1, #3 and #6 bolt so there's clearance room till you get everything better squared and seated. Then you can wrestle the #2, #4 and #5. The #4 was hardest (for me at least).

Hope this helps.
Don't forget that this is fun.
