Late Model Seatbelts - 12/19/23 09:15 PM

I have a 2007 2500 CTD. Looking for a source for OE seatbelts. With 365k on the truck my belts are getting a little grungy.

Funny there seems to be no vendors like the larger truck places that’s selling them.

Aren't they the same as some other truck model?

More than likely they're the exact same on every 2007 Ram and may be the same as other years.
Many times they change a part number without changing the actual part.

Shouldn't be that hard to find them at a u-pull or they pull yard.

my WAG is those belts should interchange with all years of that body style in all weight categories.
if this is wrong, please correct my stupidity !

They may fit all years of a body style, but there could be changes that would impact their function.
Safe bet, if it has the same part number on the MVSS label, it will work. OEMs rarely change safety related part numbers without a reason as it requires recertification.
Be careful mixing and matching restraints on late model vehicles with airbags, ect. Liability gets sketchy should you sell the vehicle or something goes sideways.

source/disclaimer: am a restraints engineer for a supplier to multiple OEMs, but not this particular application.
