Anyone here have a source for a 84 ram d100 2wd manual steering box pitman arm? I can’t seem to find one anywhere, I’ve checked the parts stores, eBay, even Amazon….maybe some one has a used one they would like to part with??

I didn't think those had a wearable ball and socket on them? Been a while since I had to do front end work on one.
Only way that pitman arm can be bad is if it somehow got bent
I’m switching from power steering to manual. The new manual box doesn’t come with the pitman arm. Which is why I’m looking for one out there somewhere.

If 1978 is the same I should have the one from my truck.
I believe I need a pitman arm from 80-85, the part number for the box is different prior to 80 and after 85.. but they may use the same pitman arm, I’m not sure?? Anyone here know?

My truck FPM only goes up through 74.

There was a lot more crossover in "parts that fit" than many realize.
There's a good chance that somewhere that one from 80 supersedes to the SE one you show "up to" 85. My last manual steering truck was a 79 model.
I kinda figured the manual pitman arms probably fit more years than just 80-85, jegs sells steering boxes the listing shows Chevy and dodge trucks, same part number. So go figure…. Im still looking for a pitman arm.lol

Try posting in the truck parts wanted section. Or try a ram specific site.

I wouldn't be surprised if your existing arm fits and may just need the master splines ground out.
The power steering box pitman is too big for the splines on the manual box. So, anyone here have a manual steering box pitman arm??! I can’t find any anywhere.

Use this site,
https://www.car-part.com/, to see if there are any manual steering boxes at a junkyard near you. When I swapped my D150 to manual steering there wasn't one local. I contacted a junkyard out of state and they shipped all necessary pieces to me. The cost of the junkyard box is much cheaper than the core charge on a reman unit too.
