DAKOTA CONVERTIBLE REVEAL MOULDING

Those with convertibles its the black molding that runs along the top of the windshield with 2 end caps. They rust and pit very badly and are impossible to find. Has anyone come up with a creative way of replacing it?

You might be able to have a fabricator make it and I think that's what I've heard a couple of people do. The easier way would be to ask someone to see if they have a spare or parting out or try to find a parts truck which sometimes comes up for sale here and there.
