Here you go Grizzly 22.3 MPG - 10/14/20 02:15 AM

I left for Florida this morning to attend my sons wedding this week end. Filled the truck up and reset the trip odometer the first stop for fuel was at 523 miles. I still had 1/4 tank. Sure do wish you would have taken my bet.

At 4 mpg better than everyone else and 6 mpg better than what I got with mine, you better sell that thing back to Chrysler Corp so they can reverse-engineer it and put it into the 2022 models? shruggy

You are wasting my time Guitar. Stopping the pump, taking a picture, and then finishing your fill is of no interest to Me. I've moved far past my Cummins days.

I'm more interested in how your new Ioniq Hybrid is doing.

Ol' Grizz doesn't believe anyone. laugh2 He didn't believe me with 16-18 around town and as high as 24 on the road in my '06 2500 QC 4x4 (hand-calculated but the computer was right there also). Around town required a very light foot and on the road had to keep it at 1900 rpm's. Hard to do though. wink

I have no doubt that your mileage can be 22.3. Good job on the set up. The naysayer must useing Vagisil for hair tonic.

Lol. It's all honest. I took a pic of the filler neck full also but it won't post from my phone. Say's it's too big and I can't do much with it here. I didn't stop the pump early, that is exactly what it took. He doesn't have to believe me, I really don't care. I made an 812 mile trip on a tank and a half of fuel so that's good enough for me. But hey, I'll still take his money so here it is, I will be leaving here on Monday, you can fly into Orlando or Daytona Beach and I'll drop you off in Charleston WV after you pay up. How's that?

We traded the Ionic in on the 2019 Ram. But it did produce 54 MPG on a trip to south FL at 73 MPH. The new Ram gets about 14 combined. I have gotten 20 on the highway with it empty.

My 78 ramcharger hand calculated to 6 mpg. I like taking my kids for ice cream in it, but its probably actually cheaper to take a cab instead.

Back at Thanksgiving I went down to dads in my 06 CC 4x4 3500 CTD. 400 miles at 75 MPH and it got right at 19.8 and still had a 1/4 tank. RPM was high, 2000-2100, I think the rears are 3.70. Good millage for a big heavy truck, tires are off a 2015 275/70 R 18. 134,000 miles, so I can see 22mpg as reasonable
