bulkhead connector hole size

i am talking about 81-93 trucks. i know that there are 40 and 50 way bulkhead connectors, but what i would like to know is the size of the rectangular hole the connector slips in from the under dash to engine compartment. thanks in advance.

Appears to be 2.37" wide and 2.02" tall. On my 82' D150
